Shift Point Advice-hypertech 3
2005 f150 4x4 Supercrew 5.4L Need advice on setting shift points and rev limits using a Hypertech 3 tuner. I don't really understand what it is that I'm trying to set and don't want to set it wrong first go around. Thanks for your knowledge. A

For a performance (non-towing) tune, set the 1-2 WOT to 5400, and the 2-3 WOT to 5300 - and *never* do a full-throttle 3-4 upshift, as you'd be doing 140+ mph by that point anyway, and the transmission wouldn't last long doing WOT (wide-open throttle) upshifts into Overdrive! 
Now on a towing tune, set the 1-2 & the 2-3 to 5200 for each.
