97 wont start

97 wont start

I read were the #22 fuse keeps blowing and how to by pass the fuel heater, but being new to the diesel side of things it looks like i can't do that to the 97, I replace the fuse, try to start and its blown again. also the "wait to start" light doesnt come on at all. where to next

unplug the fuel heater wire on the drivers side of the bowl. there is 2 wires. i believe its the lower one. then replace fuse and start. itll work.

It worked, back up and running, thank you very much. Now do I need to replace the heater before winter or not worry about it.
