I am getting my "race truck" ready to goto the shop to get a milder cam put in and was removing wiring changes made over the years. I fould a complete harness (looks factory) that attaches to NOTHING!! It is about a foot long and was just laying on top of the speedometer cable. I also have the options guage dash and I want the chrome one without the two extra guages on the side. does anyone have one for sale that isnot broke, I plan on getting it rechromed.
everyting is all dusty in there, how do all the switches remove si I can clean them up (headlight, wiper, etc)?
are the wiring manuels on EBAY any good?
also my 4-way switch is totally broke and I removed it so maybe the harness went to that??? the prior owner had tries to splice wires to make the four ways work. do I need them for inspection? are they required?
also my wipers have slop in them, like one will start moviong and them the other one will start. how do I fix this? I think it is in the arms them selves and not the "WIPER PIVOT" that Dennis Carpenter sales.
also the wirig harness for the coil, oil pressure and water pressure is crumbly.... does anyone sale these? would a harness from another Ford product (1965 Ford Mustang) fit? are the plug ends the same? I could splice some more wire in the middle and noone whould know and then I would have a new hrness....
I have a custom cab bezel with working gauges that has no cracks. It does need re-chroming.You can now get new originally-made restorative wiring harnesses for 1964-67 pickups at Checkered Flag Truck Wiring.
