Ignition Wire?
Hey Folks,
I have installed a Viair Constant Duty Compressor on my '06 F250 and now I am working on the wiring. Does anyone know off hand where I would find a hot ignition wire under the drivers side dash, and where I would find a dimmer wire to hook the gauge up to?

Clarification
Green_Dually,
Any idea what color the dimmer wire is coming off the headlight switch. Also, the ignition wire that I need will go to the switch that runs the relay for the compressor, not directly to the compressor.
I already have the switch installed I just need a hot wire that is only hot when the ignition is on. Preferably one under the dash right behind the steering wheel.

If they havent changed the colors.The dimmer wire is lite blue/red.Again thats from an 03.I not sure if they changed the colors.
As for the power with key on,look under the steering colum (need spellcheck lol) get a test light and test the wires that are right under the colum.Its a big white connecter.There is a wire there on when key is on,i just dont remember what color it is.

There is a supplied customer ignition wire to the right of the steering column near the security module. If I'm not mistaken it is white with a blue strip and will have heatshrink over the end of it. Use it only to trigger a relay not to run any heavy loads.
