Do yu ever finish? No I am sure there is plenty left to do but, since we are moving it is done for a while. Anyway I have some extra and left over stuff I will list in THE PROPER FORUM. If you wanted to email direct you might find bthornton at chartertn . net works.
Nice job Bill, since you drive it a lot have you regretted the console? I was considering one for my 53. However after about 1000 mile trip I am thinking I like leg room more. What has been you experience so far?
Yep she is daily, sitting at the airport in the rain right now waiting for me to get in tonight. I don't drive her all that much, just 11,300 miles since Jan 3rd this year and another 750 going on this week end. Bugs and stone chips are no big deal. If you like to drive your truck then by all means drive it, fixing stone chips and road wear is just normal maintenance.

How is going on the west side? Are you guys planning Super Tour 2007 yet? Looks like Phyliss and I may drive ours to Vegas the first week in November. Been planning that one for a while and looks like it might come together then.

I dont regret the console at all. There is plenty of leg room for 2 and the large Doberman lays on the console (and whatever else she wants to) when she goes. I used Expedition seats and they are very thick, so we took the 45 degree slope out of the floor and raised the seats a little higher. We have all the leg room I need at 5' 9". Where else are you going to put the cup holder, gotta have a plan.
rfpowerdude welcome to FTE. Monte IFS means its a Monte Carlo frame grafted to the trucks frame. If your looking at changing your front end look at the suspension alternatives tech article it is a wealth of information. BTW my wife is from Cocoa.

Wow, I am a GM G-body freak! I have a couple of cars I could cut up right now! It's funny, I thought that that is what it looked like, but I didn't want to embarrass myself so early on the board...
That is cool your wife is from here. If you get down here sometime, you'll have to stop by...
