70 grill vs 71/72 grill

70 grill vs 71/72 grill
I see that the grill shell for '70 F100s is a different part number than for 71/72 in Dennis Carpenter and NPD, and are generally more expensive. What is the difference? Will my '72 grill inserts install in a 70 grill shell?

i mean the 71 and 72 grill shells are the same, the grills themselves are slightly different as qman pointed out. the grill shell of the 71-72 will interchange with the 70 and you can use which ever grill of the 2 you prefer.
