Powerstroke injectors - HELP!!!
okay this is going to sound odd, especially from an IDI guy. but i need to know EXACTLY how big a powerstroke injector is (length/diameter). i could also use measurements and/or pictures of the sleeve that the injector fits into. i have searched all over the interent for this stuff but no one has any of this info. one last thing, does anyone have a good picture of the complete front cover from a powerstroke? thanks in advance for any help.

Does ANYONE know how big these injectors are? i know that it sounds odd....they are NOT going in an old 7.3L, but i cannot find these dimensions on the internet. i am wanting to replace my old 7.3L with a powerstroke, but i have to find out how big the injectors are, and i dont want to shell out $2500-$6000 for an engine i may not be able to use.

IDK, but I want to get some 98-03 injectors to put in my 96, they flow more than the 94-97..but require a computer tune, naturally...why dont you give us a little more info on what youre head is thinking, lol...and use the diesel section

there is a diesel section here!? well what i am wanting to do is get a PSD, put a 7.3L IDI front cover on it, a fuel pump, lines and then get custom made sleeves for different injectors so i can make a PSD mechanical! thats why i need to know how big an injector is so i know about what to replace it with.
