replaced battery
On my 2000 F150 after 6 years. Gosh can't they do better than that LOL. Afterwards I started it up with all accessories off and let it idle for a couple of minutes. Now at 70 mph upon deceleration it "hunts". Not a lot, but a little. Was not doing this prior to replacing battery, so I am assuming there is a connection. Any one else experienced this? Thanks.

It will take your computer a little while to relearn you driving style and the running perimeters, a couple hundred miles if I am not mistaken. Yeah them Motorcraft batteries are he!!. I replaced the one in my 97 last year with almost 200,000 miles on the clock.

What was odd, when i went to Oreillys for a new one they could not believe I wanted a Motorcraft. We never sell these they said. Although it has been my experience that batteries are like brakes, replacements never last as long as original equipment did. Thanks bigdaddyII, I will give it while. Joe
