Alternator question
Many people has probably read my "1987 F-150 blower problem" post before. I still haven't been able to fix it. I read a post somewhere where the older alternators in these trucks might not be able to keep up with the headlights, EFI, and all the electricals on these "more modern" trucks. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to convert my 87 alternator to a newer body style alternator like the one on my friends 1996 F-150. Has anyone done this before? What is all involved? Thanks for the help in advance.
