I have a 06 250 5.4 6speed, and am having problems with the gas pedal. If I am going over a rough road, and my foot on the gas pedal moves forward the slightest bit, it leaps forward, and then you try to let off of it a little, and it slows down all of a sudden. Is there any thing I can do to make the gas pedal less touchy? I also have a 2000 with a 5.4 5speed, and it does not do this at all. Could this be something that I can change back over to the older style? Thanks for any suggestions.
Ryan
You need to get it back to the dealer.
you may have a calibration problem with the ETC pedal and the stepper motor on the throttle body.
We have had a few guys have your problem
A recalibration or a change of the ETC has fixed it

Thank you very much for the information, I'll get it to the dealer. This is a great truck, and only has 2000 miles on it so maybe this will be an easy fix.
Thanks again for the help,
