Need 5.4 Diagnosis Help
Hi,
Subject is a '04 F150 5.4 with 57,000 miles.
The truck runs very poorly as in I have to use both feet to drive
it. One to feather the gas at all times. The computer shows a code
0345 Cam Sensor Bank 2. We have swapped the cam sensors and the
error remains the same, so it's not the sensor itself. After clearing the
codes it won't pop the code until the truck is started.
I'm thinking possibly something to do with the timing chains? There is some upper noise but has been almost since new.
Any ideas?
