Hey all sorry but I have been away working 7d/week. Anyway, my 1990 F150, 4wd, 5.0L, 5spd man, with 90k miles(bought it 6 months ago with 87k)has no turn signals, happened today. Since I got the truck, I did a full tune-up(duh) and replaced the EGR valve and TPS. Those two due to engine codes. Also I put in a new headlight switch, though the real problem with my dash lights turned out to be that little tan wire that has the typical problems. Well the latest stuff done was motor mounts and tranny mount, had a local shop that I have used for 20 years do it, same guy. I just haven't been here enough to do the work. That was a couple days ago. Now, no turn signals, everything else works fine. Headlights, running lights, tail, brake etc. Any suggestions? There is no sound or anything like the flasher doing its thing. And, the fuse(15A) is good. Flasher maybe? Thanks One more thing, the red brake light on the dash is on.

Take the flasher out and see if you have voltage on one of the terminals(you should). If so, see if the hazard flasher will fit in it's place, and see if that fixes it.
The red light; Go out and find the brake master cylinder, and follow the metal lines down till they enter a block with a whole bunch of metal lines coming out. On this block, see if there is a wire plugged in. If there is, unplug this wire, and see if the light goes out. If it does, and your brake pedal is a little low, one of your brake systems(front or rear) is not working. Take the master cylinder cap off and see if both sides have fluid.
Thanks for the help. First thing I checked the hazards and they all worked so I put a new flasher in for the signal and now they work fine. On the brake light, I'm still not sure what was the deal, but fluid level was low. The pedal was fine, but anyway after I topped off the fluid the light is out. There is no evidence of leakage that I can see anywhere. I checked at all the wheels and where ever I could see lines or connections. I'll keep looking, the pedal does fade after a bit sitting at a stop light or wheatever. As soon as I lift off the pedal and get back on it, it's ok, then fades down towards the floor again after several seconds. Thanks again.
Keep an eye on it. Most problems are in the rear brakes. The steel lines are famous for rusting out right in the area where the cab and bed meet along the frame. You might also want to pull the rear wheels and drums and see if there is any seapage. It should be dry and dusty under the drum, not black and sticky.
