fuel tank switch over problem

got a 73 f-100 with dual tanks and a 390. tank switch is on the floor between drivers door and seat. had the switch replaced because it wouldn't turn anymore. now I can't get fuel out of my rear tank no matter how I turn the switch. engine draws fuel from the saddle tank no problem. any ideas what I'm missing ????

Always wondered if my switch was factory or not. By the looks of your pic Dennis mine is aftermarket. I'm pretty sure I am switching properly it just seems to not be drawing fuel from the rear tank

Check for a cracked fuel line from the fuel tank to fuel selector swith. Remove the fuel line at fuel switch, remove the fuel cap and blow into fuel tank, have a storage container to catch any gas coming out of the fuel line at fuel switch.

Some time crude get built up in lines near fuel switch.

thanks for the idea. I don't see a crack or leak in the line but I also don't get fuel out of the line when I diconnect it either which isn't a good sign. I'm switching boxes within the week so I'll look into this all then while everything is easy to get at.
