I just bought a 66 f100 CC that is in great condition except for a few minor things, it is missing a headliner and the pass side door panel. I need to see where I might find the trim for the door panel and the trim piece that is on the windshield side of the headliner. is anyone making these or should I start looking in the boneyards? I love this truck. it has the 352 with a c6. as soon as I get some pics I will post them
Thanks
Jeff
Jeff: Congrats on getting a nice truck! All of us on this forum think you will quickly fall in love with it, and if you take decent care of it, you will not want to part with it. I have had mine for over 20 years, and just recently bought my son a '72.
As you start looking at parts and things, you need to answer this question: Do I want to
a. Restore it to factory condition?
b. Keep it all original and fix just what needs it?
c. Customize and modify it to meet my needs?
d. Find a mid-point among these?
Each of these options has postive and detracting factors. The truck definitely sounds worth restoring to factory showroom condition, BUT, it will cost you a lot of money.
On the other hand, option C is my choice, since I cannot afford choice A. I intend to put in power disc brakes, power steering, and convert it to an automatic. But, I'll do it so that it still looks and drives like a '66.
With all that in mind, check out all the links to the online store here, and to other reproduction sites. There are quite a few!
Search E-bay a lot as well. Here is what I find most useful; go to E-Bay Motors/Parts and Accessories section, and search only in Parts and Acessories.
Use these strings:
1966 66 ford truck
1966 66 ford pickup
1965 65 ford truck
1965 65 ford pickup
(65 is identical to 66, with a few tiny differences)
61 62 63 64 65 66 ford truck
61 62 63 64 65 66 ford pickup
(many parts are similar 61-66)
If you are looking for specific items, you can often include them to narrow your search down.
Thanks for the replies. It will look stock but I cannot afford to do a factory repo right now as I am in the middle of a frame up rest on my 71 f250 camper special and plan on driving this one until the 71 is done, then I will figure out what to do. I will try those serches and see what I can come up with.
Thanks again, this is by far the best site on the net

If the trim is the same as a standard 65 ford pu door, I have 2 sets of driver and 2 sets of passenger door inside trim that goes around the inside door panel. I also have a couple extra trim pieces for the headliner, except they are for the driver and passenger sides that come down the rear of the door.
I have a set of the door metal trim pieces as well as the dash trim piece...this is the long that runs full width across dash at rear of dash pad... drop me an e @ dlw29(No Email Addresses In Posts!) I am motivated to move the parts....Thanks, 65CS
Thanks for the replies, I have located the door panel trim and now I just need the headliner stuff and Im good to go. Now if I can get my carb problems worked out.......and then the......... But thats why I bought it, so I could play.

Hey buddy, I have my 65 that I'm restoring. How much for a set of that chrome? I could use the headliner as well. Please let me know.
