I think I have all the vacumn lines correct. I have a good adle, and it runs and sounds good at both an idle and all thru the acceration stages. Tranny shifts at proper speeds depending on amount of acceraltion (load) on the engine.
Fuel mileage seems to be normal depending on how much I have my foot in it...which, by the way....isnt much.
I have noticed that at an idle if I apply the brake, I get an idle variation.
Do I have a vacumn leak? Do i have hoses wrong? Or do I need a vacumn canister for the brake booster due to it drawing off the engine while the brake is applied?
Keep in mind I have a street/strip cam in it........
I think I need to hook up the existing canister mounted on the frame for the brake booster??? Any ideas?

Hooking up a vacuum reservior is a very good idea, considering slow speed idle and cam, just make sure there is no vacuum lines leaking, vacuum connections, engine vacuum leaks (intake or carb) and brake booster vacuum leaks.
Does the truck have cruise control?
Recheck the timing, set for cam size to engine.
Readjust the fuel / air mixtures screws on carburator.
I seperated the vacumn ports. One for only the booster. One for only the pcv valve. One for tranny, and distributor. I noticed that fumes and smoke was rolling out the vent on the valve cover.
I started looking for what was causing the pressure.
In the process, I found that the carb had a vac leak, and one small one on the intake. I also found that the new pcv valve on the valve cover wasnt working.
I fixed those problems, and it seemed to handle the rest of the problems.
I set the timing by ear, and by where it cranked the best. I havent changed that. I did re-adjust the carb, and idle. I had to bump up the idle once I fixed the problems and started it.
It changed sounds, idles better, sounds more like it should and gets on down the road. It is also not as loud under normal driving and excelleration.
