Exclamation Abs

ABS has been installed on vehicles now for a while. Heck my '93 eagle Vision had it.

Is anyone really impressed with it?

Does having ABS seem to be more of a hurt than help?

Is it only great when new, but after some hard years of use do you just feel like pulling the fuse after dealing with stuff like wheel speed sensors?

I travel a lot of gravel roads. I have found ABS to be a major danger as in the truck won't stop. I have learned to set the parking brake enough to set the light on the dash and the ABS no longer works- on my truck anyway. I can stop in 1/3 the distance without them on gravel. I sometimes do the same when the roads are wet from a light rain because the darn thing won't stop.

I hate that rolling feeling too! It's dangerous!

Right now I'm about to consider pulling a fuse! LOL
