My 1996 F350 4x4 was lifted by a vertically challenged person. I had to put nerf bars on it to climb in and I'm 6'4".... The ride is even worse, my kids are launched into the ceiling..... Junk yards can't find a stock leaf springs. Is there a place out there that won't cost me a 1,000 dollars to de-lift???
Thanks in Advance
What does you lift consist of? Replacement springs and/or blocks, or did they just add a pile of leafs to the stock suspension? If the latter returning to factory height and ride is as easy as removing all the added bits. Look for an unlifted stock truck in your area similar to yours and count how many leafs are in front and back, then you know what your target is.

(It's a proffesionaly installed unit of leafs/sway bars and extended shocks)
I wouldnt count on your truck riding a heck of a lot better with stock suspension. My 96 F350 powerstroke can find bumps on a brand new road. Its rough as hell.
