Front end

Just got back from a trip. While on the road, I had to step on the binders, the stearing wheel shook. It felt like the wheels were shaking. Truck has 132K, picked up truck at 89K, No parts replaced, only service. Road speed, around 75-80. Any ideas would be of help. pete

Sounds like warped rotors. Ever had the pads replaced? Best thing to do is take it into a brake place and they'll tell you for free - rotors are expendable and wont cost too much.

Yep, sounds like warped rotors. If you've new tires installed or rotated recently, they probably over torgued the lugs. Pretty common problem.

Cobra_Kai thanks for the tip, Have not had a chance to check rotors, I have noticed that at lower speeds, under 65, no shaking. At high speed, the brake peddle felt like it was pulsing. Does this still sound like rotors?
