PCM Question

Here's my question will a PCM that is for a 1997 Powerstrokes E-250's Part number 12A650-ALB work in my 99 f-250?

I thought about buying one to have as a back up.

I couldn't give you the answer but i'll bet Jody Tipton could right off the top of his head. Set u up with a better tune for that back-up too.
