ehhhhhh, i'm not sure i'd do it. make DARN sure you have some GOOD jackstands. you'll laugh but i use my kubota tractor with front bucket to lift the front up and then sit it down on jackstands. it's so much easier and quicker

dont use anyhthing hydraulic to support the truck, its ok for lifting but you need good tall and solid jackstands

i use 6 ton jackstands on top of some brake drums off a freightliner 52 meter 6 axle concrete pumptruck

Kegs?

I recommend just buying some jackstands, they arent expensive... if thats not high enough then put some railroad ties or something below it. I like KO's idea though, where did you get those?

the beauty of it all is that by the time the keg's empty, you KNOW it's gotta be safe enough right?

I usually stack a few cinder blocks under each frame and then a 4x4 across that so my pretty painted frame isn't sitting on CMU

I have yet to come across and jack stands that are high enough. . .

Well, not that I'm Captain Safety (by any stretch of the imagination) by cinder blocks can fail dramatically in an instant. You know, even if the big 6 ton jack stands don't reach high enough it would be simple to weld a set up.

Why yes it did

Although we :ahem: HE was using stacks of 2x6s with the jack if memory serves. Almost went through the wall of the living room during that incident too. Good times!

I would NEVER use stacks of wood like that.
