Thoughts on get together?

Thoughts on get together?
So who would be interested in trying for a state or local meet/ It would be nice to try to do a state meet, just have to try and figure out where and when. Might be such if we plan it out good enough, we could maybe have it at Reasoner when Monsterbaby is running... Ideas, thoughts?

I'm looking for ideas, but unfortunately, you are as far east as we can get, and it would be nice to try and get it such that it somewhat centralized, but if someone has an outright suggestion, please post it.

unless its was in Ames...i'm out...I start classes the 21st and move up the 16th...so I'm out after that since my car is in the body shop and i refuse to bring my truck up and park it by the other people since most of them dont respect other people's property enough. you could have it at the parking lot in Jack Trice Stadium if it wasnt on a game day...its a HUGE parking lot...but idk if many people would like that.

I understand the not too good on gas part, mine isn't good enough to run without a purpose any more... I showed up to the Missouri meet with a Cavalier, but $100+ for just a run down and bs for a while just doesn't work in the budget... Doesn't really matter if you don't run it, but it nice when we all can show off our trucks... Mine's gotten so torn up lately, looks more and more like a farm truck... can't seem to keep tires from trying to tear the box off, gone through 3 in the last few months, the last was a real doozy, thought the first of the group was bad...

im game if the get together idea is still floating around, id prefer a a get together somewhere in iowa instead of making a drive to kansas city for the multi state one. we should try to get one going before theres snow on the ground. im good for a drive anywhere between the quad citys and desmoines. i've been waiting forever for the chance to meet some of you guys

cedar rapids or iowa city will work fine for me, i've got family and friends in the waterloo area so it'll give an excuse to head up that way. i have no life so any time will work great for me, although im assuming its gonna be on a weekend so maybe a saturday afternoon/night.
