Plow Package Needed?
Just got a new 06 F250 SD. Thought about putting a snow plow on it but it did not come with a plow package. It has a 6.0L with a stabilizer on the suspension. Looking at the ford web site the plow package must have special springs 140 amp alt (looked at mine could not find the amps rating) rear aux spring (what is that for) and unique fan clutch. The truck does have a trailer tow package. Guess I should have looked at all this before i picked up the truck.Thanks to all

I would recommend getting the dealer to upgrade and install it. This way they can't void the warranty, because they did it. It may cost more than an aftermarket shop, but may be worth the extra bucks..
