Well went racing today, and monsterbaby didn't keep the shiney side up. But on the bright side I won every race I ran (of coarse I rolled on the first race of modified but hey) it was an easy roll not too much damage, couple broken windows, broken shock, busted oil filter and some sheet metal damage. Shoved the roof over about an inch into the roll bar and busted the seams for the roof but a porta power and a hammer, then some lexan to replace the windows and good to go.
here is a pick of it doesn't show a lot of damage but you can see basicilly what happens. Like I said it was a pretty easy roll just onto the side after it finished skipping sideways and bouncing bad.
I know not everyone in here reads the offroad forum, so I will post what my wife did get for video from the race today, of coarse she missed the actual rollover but you can see the run in anycase. http://www.supermotors.net/vehicles/...y/media/416002
Don't feel bad Rob, even bigfoot rolls it over every now, and again, part of the fun of racing I guess. Glad your ok, I trust you have a 6 point harness, and an inside roll cage ? Are the safty rules pretty strickt in your class ?
The rules are strct in some areas, I do have a 10 point incab rollcage (you can see part of it in the pics) I do wear a helmet, and I have a 5 point harness current SFI certs. They don't require fire suits unless running alky which I don't, but they do require a fire extinguisher. the other rules are trans safety shield or blanket, driveshaft loops and a couple other minor things.
