Trans-no 3-4 shift
Greetings all,
2003 F350 4R100 with 27k miles and all stock except for an added cooler and guages. On a recent trip I was towing a boat (10,000 lbs) no problems, never exceeded 186 degrees. Stopped for 1-2 hours. Started back up and lost the 3-4 shift. 1-2 worked fine as well as reverse. While coasting downhill in 2nd,the truck would act as if in neutral based on the RPM's. Overdirve light starts flashing. Fluid recently changed with Mercon. It was full and not burnt. Truck sat all night and the next day it started shifting normal. Codes pulled were P0782 and P07833. Dealer was unable to diagnose it since it was now working fine. Any thoughts? Valve body, clutches, solenoids? It is beyond the 36000/36 month time.
