Hello Enthusiasts! I joined the forum yesterday because I am finally working on my '56 F800 Big Job, and boy, is it a Big Job.
First order of business was finding out what was wrong with the tranny (everything on the main shaft...). Then replacing all of the wiring the rats ate off out in the field. It ran great with new plug and ignition wires.
It still needs a Clark 265 V 5 speed Heavy Duty Direct. I would appreciate all leads and ideas.
I hope to post photos of the project once I get a digital camera.

Thanks for your welcoming statement. Yes, there is even more to describe. But 50 years has actually been pretty good to this truck. The odometer reads 37 thousand something and I think it might just be for real. Gonna need a rear window, too...
