-6AN fitting source

I'm looking for some fittings for an Aeromotive 1000-6 regulator. Need a -6AN port to -6AN hose fittings. I found some Jegs brand for a $7.99, but they charge a $10.99 handling charge for free shipping. Anyone know where I can get inexpensive fittings and low shipping? I'm not really cheap, just a matter of principle paying the handling charge. Thanks.

Thanks Strokin. I'll probably just go with Jegs, the fittings are cheaper, that makes up for the free shipping charge!

Did you check Summit as well? They probably have a handling charge too though.

My local Hotrod shop carries AN stuff. I've made up a bunch of AN lines for my Cuda and members in the Car club too. It's just easier when you can put the parts in your hand vs getting from a catalog.

I just remembered that I've also bought some of my anodized fittings from NAPA. I think they've got quite a few sources for the parts.

AN fittings

Look up Aircraft spruce and specialty online, or east coast aviation supplies. Both of them will have them, and I doubt the shipping will be that high.

Also, try your local hydraulic shop. They will have 37* and 45* flare stuff. Might not be anodized. But they'll have it. FWIW, the AN stuff is 37*...

IMO, I'd rather use zinc or nickel plated steel on the truck than aluminum anyway.

Thanks everybody. I may just run to the speed shop and pick them up. I'm at home with the kids most of the time and it's a pain to load them up and make the trip. That's why I prefer online shopping, delivered right to the door! Not so much lazy as efficient. Well sometimes... I've already spent more time messing with this then it would have taken me to make the trip to the speed shop!

Very true about the 37 degree seat...If you really wanted it I would recommend going down to your nearest general aviation airport. The aircraft maintenance shop will have what you need.
