HELP!
I have a '65 F-100 & I need parts. I need to know if anyone has any good sources for body & trim, wiring, & a parts truck for ps & pdb. Also need a bed. I'm doing a 466 SCJ/C-6 for my wife until the twin turbo engine is done. Need to do the body & chassis first. Any clues?

There are many suppliers of parts for these old trucks. One of them is the store on this site, fair prices, Excellent service and advice. Flip through the archives. Now! Tell us about the plan for this 65. How big is the budget? What condition is the truck in today? Do you plan on doing all the work yourself? What time frame are you working on? Sounds like you are an engine builder? Capitalize on your strengths, and consider buying a truck for your engine project. Check the for sale ads on this site!

HELP!
Well, we're gonna keep the body stock in appearance but paint it turquoise & white. Probably a power split seat & a boom boom stereo(hidden). As for the drive train, I have a stock 460/C-6 for now to play. Will do the 466SCJ/C-6 as soon as she's ready. & I have a twin Garrett T-04 Turbo 466 I'm building for later. Keep just enough boost in it for the 10's. I have a tube chassis '66 'Stang if the need for speed arises. Need to convert it to PS & PDB, & do away with the single MC before I do much more. Car hasn't run since '87, took me 4 hours to get the little 6 running. Probably take at least a year to complete but the wife wants it now... as long as the drag car doesn't suffer

I'd collect all the PS, PDB parts, pull the engine and strip off the dog house, I Beams and steering column and gear. Re assemble starting with the gear, I Beams, column, master and booster, engine and trans then put the dog house back on. Sounds like a family project. Those are the best!
