Extra Lights question (driving/spot)

Hi guys,

Are there any lights out there that are round 6-8" AND that will take a H4 bulb?

I want a lot of light but don't really want to have to have some of the lights for regular driving and SOME for when i want a lot of light so I wanted to put H4 bulbs so I can use the high/low.

Also, I don't really want BLUE lights, they irritate the hell out of me on the road and I don't want to do the same thing to others.

Something that will hold say 90/130w bulbs.

Here are a couple that I like (the way they look)
http://4wheelparts.com/4wp/products/...hting&man=PIAA
http://4wheelparts.com/4wp/products/...PC&expand=sub1

Note! I know that they may not be the right size but I like the way they look.

So, do I have a chance of finding something that I like?

Also, I'm thinking of putting these in a Bumper from Road Armor
(see theStealth Bumper with Fleet Guard) on this page
http://www.roadarmor.com/ra3/ford_trucks.html

This is kind of the way I want it to look

Thanks

George

Ya might want to check out your local and state law's b-4 you spend too much cash here. Where I live you can add 1 pair of 55w driving lights in addition to your factory headlights, as long as they are not illuminated when you hit the highbeams. If you run more than one extra pair, or they are stronger than 55w, you are required to have them covered when you are on the pavement. However I do not know of anyone who has gotten cited. That was the motivation for a couple buddies to install their high performance lights behind the grills of their rigs. We git alot of deer up here, and sometimes it sure is nice to send as much fire to cut thru the night as one can. I helped a friend wire up (behind the grill) a pair of 85w KC's directly to the highbeams of his rig, so they only come on when he activates the highbeams, and when he bumps into oncomming traffic, he does not need to hit multiple switches to turn off the fire so he does not blind somebody.

Well, I was thinking of some kind of extra switch so that I can only turn them on with a separate switch AFTER I turn my brights on. Ie, three steps.

1. Regular low beams
2. Brights
3. Brights AND the Extra stuff if I need it

Also with the brights, I wanted to have possibly some lights on an angle for curves.
Deer or NO deer, I like lights at night!

My Volvo when I used to live in Europe had a total of 700w when I hit my brights.
Very nice at night AND you were assured that people dimmed their lights if I flicked mine on

..and NO, I don't want to blind people. Another reason i dont want blue lights

700? WOW! I love xtra light too, without the threat of blinding oncoming folks.
git a common relay
ground it
load it direct from a constant source ( straight to the battery with a in-line fuse)
activate it from the highbeam positive and install a switch to interupt current
This will allow you to run your highbeams with or without your extra lights.
Only thing it will not allow; is for you to turn the extra lights on without clicking the highbeams on first. Does this help?

Yep, just the way I wanted to do it.

Here's another question.

On the X, to get your highs on, you have to push the switch/arm forward instead of the more common pulling it back till it clicks and doing it again to turn it off. I don't like this.

Is it possible to change it or find some aftermarket arm/switch (whatever it's called) that will let me do this and still retain the functions of the original part?

If so, would it be possible to hook it up so that when you pull it TOWARDS you, it turns the brights on (like most vehicles) and when you push it forward, it would turn the brights AND the extra lights?

Come to think of it, I still don't have a reply on whether I can find extra lights that run on H4's instead of H3 or H2's?

Thanks

George
