hi guys
Hi guys. First off I wanna say way to go on a great Ford pickup site.
Now couple questions?
#1. Are you guys waiting atleast till 2009 model year to get the new 6.4 Powerstroke due to the fact of the issues with the 6.0 when first released. Personally I'm gonna wait. My friend has a 04 with a 6.0 and Banks chip and it's a beast. but it had a few recalls on it.
#2. I'm looking to put the Banks "Big Hoss" kit on it at the dealership before it goes home. the only thing i'm worried about is will the Torqueshift tranny hold the extra HP and torque cause the way i estimate it would be at 450 hp and 800-900 lbs or torque.
#3. is dealers around you guys clueless? I went to a dealer near where i live today. I know the 6.4 Powerstroke still a lot of rumors and no offical word but the sales guy didn't know they were changing the Powerstroke for next model year(08). I knew more about the engine than he did and i'm not trying to toot my horn. but i was kind of disappointed.
#4. The model i'm looking to get is a F-350 Single rear wheels 4X4 FX4 4 door, short box, with the 6.4 PSD(of course), King Ranch with a bench in the back.
