Well after sometime I was able to get my Rod Door seat done a long with kick and door panels. Next will be the headliner and visors. Floor mats will have red to offset the black carpet. Steering column is also on the list. I like the stock column and had seen some stock columns cut 4 inches, considering that setup.
PS. Seat belts are going to be black.
I like it too.BTW, looking thru the Sacremento Vintage Ford catalog last nite, I noticed some strips that go on the raised section of the running boards, chrome base I think and you can get colored stips of your choice to match paintwork. I was intrigued, and have never seen these on a vehicle. I'm sure some of you guys have. How do they look? I'm mulling it over. I don't step on my boards.
Thanks guys! I'm really happy with the seat. Nice adjustment on the mounting plate. There are many on the left coast that use the strips on the boards. Look pretty cool.
The bench seat looks comfy. What a difference. I just did the headliner on mine, I'd advise having someone like Steve help you out. He's put one in before. I'm looking for a pair of visors to have them recovered in the same material as the headliner but they are difficult to find. Ed, Ididit and Flaming River have some really nice steering columns. Flaming River has a 28 inch that sits nice and low.
Thanks Keith. Chrome plates. Mid-fifties sells them. The seat and form is from Rod Doors. I had the work done through a local shop "Seatz" next to John's F100 in Anaheim.
