Speedo problem...
Hey all,
I am having problems with my truck (95 F-150 4.9L). I was hauling some dirt and it did fine. then the next day my speedo wouldn't work, nor does the cab lights, power mirror's, or the light warning ding. i'm not sure what it is, i thought i would ask you guys first then to take it to a dealer or somebody and have them charge me to do something that i could have done.
Thanks alot.

Glad it only turned out to be a fuse...
I was driving home from a scrap metal haul one time early in the morning, and I noticed that the amber markers on my trailer fenders weren't on. (I had the headlights on for better visibility).
Then, I looked down at the dash and the dash lights were out also, as was the AC/Heat control panel lights.
Stopped by Auto Zone, and sure enough, it was a shot fuse. Put in a new one, and 5 miles later... Shot again. I thought that I had a serious problem somewhere.
Turned out to be that only the trailer light wiring had been "squeezed" between the boards and the bed runners underneath and it was short-circuiting. I unplugged those things real quick, and now I only use my trustworthy TSC magnetic ones! lol.
