The is a pull on aug 10,11,12. The fords always do great there and I was wondering how many of the FTE members are attending.
It is in DeLeon TX
Would I stand a chance in my 78????
It has 305 mud tires a rebuilt 300 and a NP 435, a hitch highth of 28" and a leaf pack of over 16 spring on each side. ALL of what I just mentioned might work in my favor.
Get - r - dun
There was 2 F150's their last year a 97-03 4x4, and a mid 90's 4x4 V8 both autos, the trition did great for what he was, but the 90's F150 was probably a 302 AOD 3.55. it made 100' and then the tire slowly stoped spinning, I think he got 123" total. the newer one must have been a 5.4. Surely I can out pull a 5.4 auto with my 300 granny box
well I can honestly say that even though I have no experience with tractor pulls, other than watching them, you would have no chance whats so ever. Things like your 300 I6, 2.75 open diff gears, and the auto just kill any shot you had. I wish I could go but Ive got work and other plans that conflict with the days they r pullin.
No it has 3.73 posi Dana 60 With an NP 435 What Where You reading - 2.75 open with an auto . My roomat must have messed with my CP True it has a 300 But in Low it Should outpull a 5.4 F150 Right?

a o6 mega cab 4x4 DRW dodge 6spd ***-a part- I can smell the clutch smoke and it's making me hungery!
The trucks I know are personally going
True it has a 300 But in Low it Should outpull a 5.4 F150 Right?
Seriosly, I doubt it. The 5.4 has way more hp and torque, and it gets it just as low as the 300. I have owned both, and teh 5.4 is way stronger, even in my f250 which oughtweighs my old f150 by at least 1500 pounds.
I was reading the info off your gallery and assumed, yes I know the saying, thats what your truck had. But I still agree with 92f150I6 that you wont beat the newer trucks.
The 5.4 at the end quit spinning his tires if mine does that I'll sell it. Let me see
6.69 x 3.73 X 225 = 5614...... The 5.4. 2.84 x 3.55 x 350 = 3528 OK something isn't wright, I did not fail my math classes and you say he has me beat....UUMMMM that is reaching a little
