I own a 98 f150 4.6L. I have coolant leaking from left reaf of block under the exhaust manifold from what looks to be a sensor in a freeze plug..the wires run up towards the radiator....Is this a sensor ans if so is it hard to replace. thanks for any info.....dship

 

sounds to me like a block heater. if it just presses in you can replace it with a regular freeze plug

 

Thanks, that what it was...We bought this truck used for my boy and the owner never told us about it....Already got it replaced with freeze plug
