Thanks. We're looking forward to a get-to-gether with like minded enthusiasts. The wife and I have been involved with the automotive hobby together for the last 20 years and me since the 60's. Recent transplants from the great white north and are really enjoying tooling in the Effie yearround. We also have a 1960 El Camino but thats fodder for a different forum.
davidsca, I tried to PM you my info for your list. It looks at my e-mail addy as a link to a website. I tried several work arounds but wasn't able to send the info.
4cammer72, love the Elky too. Ivory with Roman Red interior.

Hey SC,
welcome to the crew. I've been off and on the forum the last month due to insane work hours (oh how I loathe my job lol). Just add a space between the @ symbol and mail server name, add an "E" to the dot com(E) part, or just throw a dash(spelled) com instead of the . That almost always defeats the sniffer software thats usually on a server.
As soon as the holidays are over and the weather warms up a bit I imagine this forum will really be hopping. We gettin' lots of new folks.
Try those tricks for mail addy and let me know if it works
well guys''
we hooked up the ford truck to the hotdog trailer and towed it to nesses saturday and with the power of the 460 motor'' it felt like it had nothing behine it at all''
the paint might look ruff'' but the ford power was there ''
a get together would be a nice idear '
make it like a big tail gate - cook out some hotdogs - talk - get to know each other' - check out everybodys truck and see what they have done, and what the other wants to do'
now if we can just set a date and a time that we all can do this ''''''

any idears from where and how we can do this'''
I've/we've been waiting for all these Holidays & Family Festivities to clear up before really throwing dates/times'n places out.... otherwise they'll only get lost in the forum.

... Sorry.. I didn't think about what I was talking (typing) about before it went out. Dave...myself and a few of others of us didn't think it would hurt anything if a particular region of the state wanted a semi-kinda informal gathering of some sort if they have enough interested parties. Jus' don't forget to announce it out here... heck ya never know more of us maybe able to make it.
I agree w/ Rich. We have members all over SC now (cool) and I know it will be hard for us all to meet say, in greenville or around Charleston. We had a quick meet in Columbia last year and had several show up.
We'll keep our eyes and ears open for meeting info
id love to get together...but it would be hard for me cause i swing shifts (michelin)....only 2 weekends off a month.....hey there are some beer drinkers out there right? cause i love my beer as much as my fords!
