I am wanting to install working gauges on a quad "A" pillar and am wondering where you hook up the sending units for oil pressure and oil temp gauges on the 6.0. motor.
Not sure on the oil pressure, but I installed my oil temp by tapping into the top of the oil filter cap. I added a short piece of pipe into the top of the cap using pipe dope (on both ends) then the temp bulb. The short piece of pipe is so the bulb doesn't contact the spring inside the filter and also makes a nice reservoir for the temp bulb to sit into. Make sure you can close the hood without it contacting the probe BEFORE you add all the pipe dope.
