Howdy. Performance 6.0?

Hey guys im not looking to race my 6.0 2006.... Well maybe a few times to see what the ricer boys say..... But ive got a bully dog triple dog with the outlook moniter, a trueflow airflow filter, and straight pipe turned out after the cab... Im getting an AFE stage 2 magnum with the pro guard 7 cover. But basically I wanna know what else I should looki into and what would be good... Im thinking new transmission, turbo, water meth..... But does anyone have good bad experiences advice? And im also thinking about lifting say 4 inches what has been ya'lls experience?

Check sig for mods. I race mine everyother Friday night. It's too fun not to. If you want to beef up the tranny, look into a Precision Industries Torque Converter. It's helped mine alot on the launches and I don't worry about tearing it up as much either.

To answer both questions.... Ive got 4 inch and its a little quite at idle and when your cruising at 60, 70. 40, whatever. But when I punch it you know im coming, and if you dont hear that, then atleast you see the black smoke...Also I have a Banks tip its round and turned in instead of bieng tipped, and I also enjoy the sound from that

And I originally thought of getting a torque converter but if you havent heard of ATS Transmission they can stand it, and they got a torque converter added usually! So im onna be trying to get one of those bad boys on my truck http://www.atsdiesel.com/

Yes, I've heard of them, but I'm waiting for a full tranny rebuild from BTS. Brians Transmission Shop in Lead Hill, AR is known as the best Ford Tranny rebuild. Been in several magazines and I've had numerous personal recommendations from some pro racers. He's not doing the 5R110's yet because he hasn't blown enough up to be sure he's made it bullet proof, but he'll be doing them before long. His will only be $3900 and he'll do mine in a day. I take it to him at 8am and it'll be done by 6pm same day. He's only 3 1/2 hours from me so no big deal.

Yep, Arkansas. And if you'd do a search on the site, you'll find a few other guys that know his reputation.

There were two clues. One, the two letter abbreviation for Arkansas is Ar, Arizona is Az.

And second, if Missouri is only 3.5 hours from Arizona, I either flunked Geography, or that's one fast truck!
