i just put on some 33'' tires on my truck and i noticed that the tires are not straight they kind of do this \---/ not so drastic but thats the only way i can explain this what can i do it is a 2wd not a 4wd is there something i can do to fix this. thanks in advance for any help
Is your truck lifted all all? Leveling kits and lifts can definitely take things out of whack.
It might just need a good alignment, but it might also need some frontend work as well. Once the lower joints go, she just won't hold an alignment. I know from experience.
They aren't hard to put on if they aren't seized in there. You can get up to a 2.75 Degree cam . All of the 4wd shops and NAPA should have them. You remove the cotter pin from the upper joint, remove the nut, and with some convincing, the cam should come out.
I would still recommend a shop do it, just so you can get back into factory specs.
its actually a body lift kit but the tires were still affected when the tires were mounted on the truck i guess the tire is a little to big for stock suspension
No, if the tires clear, it's not too big for the stock suspension. A 33" is still pretty tame compared to what others bolt to these trucks.
Since it's a body lift, and you have stock suspension, I doubt you need alignment cams- alignment cams usually address suspension lift issues. Take it in for an alignment and you should be ok.
