I installed a Gulf Coast Filter System by pass filter on to my 2006 F350. Instead of using their pickup and return sites I elected to use the Oil Guard billet aluminum oil filter cap for supply and oil filler cap for return. I did an oil change and installed a new Napa Gold (Wix) full flow filter. I was not getting much pressure or flow from the oil filter cap supply.
I contacted Oil Guard and questioned them and learned their billet aluminum cap only works with their full flow filter (Racor) or an OEM element. When I switched to their element the problem was solved. 
Mixing the GCFS and the Oil Guard billet caps makes for a clean and neat install and should be less prone to leaks then tapping into the oil pan, which is the suggestion by GCFS for the return line. Passing this info along incase anyone else tries this modification so they can avoid the heartache. Happy truckin!
