Tonight going down around 35 to 45 mph let go of the gas and the truck just died. put it back in neutral and cranked it over and she started right up. does anybody know what could be the cause of it dieing, this is the first time it ever happened.

when cruising the other day i let off the throttle the engine goes completely silent for 1 or 2 seconds. i suppose thats normal but for you to have to crank it again i would say is not. keep driving it and if it does it again i would bring it in. but you know what your going to hear. "we can't get it to do it".
I agree with the wire chafing. You might have your dealer install the vdr ( like a flight recorder-black box) It has a button to push when it does its thing.
