distributor question

on my 1980 ford f 150 4 x 4. my 351w is far from stock and ive upgraded everything on the ignition system except the stock distributor. IT alread has a msd 6a box and coil. Trying to figure out which msd distributor i need. Wonder ing since i have the motor so built would i be better off to go to mechanical advance? There are no emmisions at all on this truck to worry about as im running historic plates as well.

wanna order this tomorow so trying to figure it out

All the stock distributors I know of are both.
For stock dizzys have a mechanical advance below the plate in the dist.
You can get springs to either tighten or loosen the amount of advance they put out from stock.

For a street machine to me stock is enough.

I would want the most Spark I could get though.
