ok,i got an 84 150 6cyl. im wondering is it possible to make a valve cover out of fiber glass? and also does anyone know how hot a valve cover gets whille the engine is running? cause i think it would look kool cause then u can mold things in and design new ideas in the valve cover,make it look good,thx ya'll

You'd probably have to use a real valve cover underneath, for strength around the bolt holes (function) and fiberglass around it to create whatever you want (form). Not sure about temperature, but since there is coolant flowing through the head, it's probably close to the temperature of the coolant.
