Looking at welders.

Hey! I might be putting this in the wrong forum, so ignore it if i am. I am looking for a good small mig welder for doing minor exaust work and fixing equiptment. I'm looking at spending 500$ and want to get Hobart, Miller, or lincoln. Lincoln seems to be priced right, have any of you had luck with them or the other brands? Thanks!

I prefer Miller. Check out the tool and shop forum for more opinions.

If you are looking at the 110 volt models I would get the lincoln sp135. We have a miller and lincoln at work. The lincoln establishes an arc better.

I've got a Lincoln 110V wire welder and it has been great for my projects.
