when and if....
That said, I have started running my 91 7.3l on B20 (that the 20%Bio/80%Regular Diesel Blend.
I sure noticed the difference, the truck runs smoother, quieter, and smokes a lot less under heavy acceleration. The B20 has also improved the starting. Fuel milage seems to be about the same as near as I can tell. Even so the B20 blend has 2% less Btu/gallon, the fact that it burns hotter and more efficiently seems to easily make up for it resulting in milage very close to that of regular diesel. I did upgrade my fuel filter right after I switched to B20 to a Racor set-up. Sofar I have not had any issues with dirt being stripped from the tanks like other guys have reported when they switched to Biodiesel.
I believe the recommendation is to upgrade all rubber components in the fuel system to Viton if you are going to run B100. Most manufacturers are already ok with B5 and don't think B20 can do much harm.
I would post a thread on the Biodiesel Forum if I were you and somebody who has done this before might be able to help out.
As I said before what you got right now should work fine for the B1, B5, and B20 blends.
Seb....
