Wastegate problem?
Just noticed my boost would not build past 17lbs while pulling 5ver. Had been hitting 22-24 easy. Unhooked the wastegate and everything is fine. EGT's came down some to. When I put the WW in, I left the actuator rod connected and wondering if I may have messed it up somehow. Is there a way to check the actuator or will I just have to buy another?

I believe you can adjust the rod if it's not working the same way with the WW. I've not done this though. The WW should only lose boost psi at lower revs from what I understand. Anybody else?

Bungee cord it shut and test that way first. I pull them ( all trailers and equipment) all and never un bungee mine. I have all the guages to watch too. If you feel you need a new actuator let me know and I will just give you mine, Im on a time constraint though and may not be able to give to you until after the 15th if you need it. I got mine from another member back east and its horrible that I cant remember who it was. It turned out I dont need it and your welcome to it. Troy
