Air intake
I have a'05 Ford 250 Diesel 6.0L.
Can someone explain to me the difference between a full air intake kit VS. a performance filter w/ open box replacement. Basically the box is similar to stock but there is no front on it to allow for air flow like the full replacement kit. Thanks. Kevin

I think what you're asking is if there is a performance difference between an open top design and a full closed cold air intake system. Yes there is, you will have cooler EGT's with a closed cold air intake system. The AFE systems offer 2 cold air intakes and one open design. If that's not what you meant call us and we'll help you with any questions etc.
