thats right and it only is 10 MPH faster or something have any orf u seen the lighting Concept? it matches the numbers of the Dodge I bet ford didint produce it cause it would have just left the damn thing in its own dust

unno, u can say all u want to bash dodge. but dodge is the only company who has ***** these days and doesn't stick a damn V6 in everything oh yea hemi power is right. Take the ford 500 and put it against the Chrysler 300 or even the Dodge Charger. But I am going to compare the 1500ram vs the f-150 ford.


Ford- 5.4 litre 8 Cylinder- 4 speed auto
Dodge- 5.7 litre 8 Cylinder- 5 speed auto

Ford- 300hp at 5000rpm
Dodge- 345hp at 5400rpm

ford- 6 seats
dodge- 6 seats'

ford- 7100 lb towing
dodge- 7650 lb towing

So all in all i'm not going to go any further, Because you Ford guys are probably crying right about now. Dodge Trucks are roomier (mega cab) and they have more power. You can go out and buy a Ford that's no problem but in the end of the day I think you have to realize your still driving a ford when your getting smoked by a Ram Hemi. Pretty much any dodge car can beat a ford excluding the gt40 and Ill take away the Viper, but and practical car i.e Charger would stomp a Mustang with the 6.1 HEMI so peace out ****as.

 

So you're saying having more power than gas mileage is more important in this day and age of outragous gas prices? If power was the name of the game, why are Dodges sales still less than those of Ford? Seems like Ford knows the consumers better than Dodge does. All Dodge is doing is throwing the Hemi in every car. Now if Ford threw the Lightning 5.4L in every car, Dodge wouldn't stand a chance. But Ford is more realistic and understands that gas guzzling V8's aren't the best option for all makes and models.

So what if the Mega Cab is roomier, these trucks aren't selling as Dodge had thought. Missed the market on that one! People dislike the fact you can only get the short bed in the Mega Cab model, which most people that want this size of truck also want a Long Bed. More Power? Who cares about more power if the truck body won't hold up to the demands, the tranny fails and the engine burns up in half the time the Fords does? Not to mention the gas mileage. Also, they've tested the Z06, Viper and GT40 side by side and guess what, the Ford won hands down in almost every catagory. Sure a 6.1L Charger could take a stock 4.6L Stang GT. Compare the 6.1L Charger next to the Stang GT500 which magazines already have and the Charger can't keep up.

yea dude I think you need to go back to school and learn to read. I said not including the gt40 or the viper. I think I also mentioned the word practical. Dodges do hold up to the test. They have a better crash test rating, and that means for a much safer ride. But seriously like you said, Thanks for the laugh.
