Topic side tracked. How 'bout comparing the lightning motor the hemi who will then win.

 

Ill agree the Hemis got more umph than the 5.4 but with a few minor agustments it would kill it, another thing bout both trucks ill bet you the F-150 lasts longer than the ugly Ram

 

The Lighting with the Hemi in the dust duh if ford came out with a lighting this year it would Kill both Hemi and Viper Ram hands down

the concept made about 2 years back had over 500 hp/500 ft-pd so I dont see why it wouldn't

The last generation of Lightning was running numbers close to what the SRT-10 RAM was running with more then 100 hp less.

The 3V 5.4L in an F-150 will match a Hemi-powered 2500/3500 truck...but the 1500 Hemi's will get away from the Triton. I've had some pretty close personal experience with the 2V 4.6L, and the 3V 5.4L...without a doubt the MOD engines from Ford are the most reliable fullsize truck engines on the market right now. It's amazing to see what these things can take without even a slight hiccup.

I seen a comparison with the SRT-10 Viper Ram VS the Lightning and I seen that the ram had a 8.3L and the Ford with 5.4L. Looking at the 0-60 the ram only beat the lightning by only .3 tenths of a second. With the ram having a 498 ci motor 500 hp and 100 hp more than the Fords 333 ci and 390 hp. It just doesen't make sense the Ram truck has 100 more horsepower and only beat the lightning by .3 tenths of second. If you ask me the dodge is crap.
