Need Help!! Broke Driveshaft!!
went offroading today, jumped my truck, and ripped the yoke out from the back of the tranny...
have a 2000 f150...
anyone know where or how much its going to cost to fix and where i could??? live in so. CA

If you live in Souther cali then you know where Mera Masa is. There is several salvage yards there that will have what you need. I have done the same thing to a 94 Ranger. I was back on the road with a little more then 40 bucks and a few hours work. I also places some lite sheetmettal under the transmission to add protection to the tranny. Oh and one more thing, if jumping is something that you are going to do (H@## yea!!!!) do yourself a favor. Either weld it yourself or find someone that can, you need to place a shock mount on the backside of the mellon, and a match to the spare tire crossmember.(This is the piese of angle iron that run side to sideunder the bed but above where the sparetire sits) A coilover shock placed between them will reduce the chances of this hapening again.
