'87 TOD stick Shift Problem
So, I posted earlier, but I am still having problems and I have more info now.
I am finishing up a clutch replacment on my '87 and I can not seem to get the stick back in the transmision corectly.
The stick will sit nicely in what I think is the gate on the 3/4 selector, but it will not move.
It looks like the gate on the 1/2 selector is inline with the 3/4 and the reverse selector is all the way forward.
Is it possible that something came loose when moving the tranny?
I don't have any fluid in the tranny right now, but I don't see how that could affect it's ability to change gears.
Any sugestions would be great. I have to get this thig back up and running.
