I am currenntly looking a a 1997 f-250 LD it has the 4.6 V8, regular cab, 8' bed, cloth seats 60/40 split. air conditioning and automatic transmission, it has 94,000 miles and the body has no rust only a small ding in the tailgate and front bumber. it is a XL trim, my question is how much is this truck worth.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-Sep-02 AT 10:42 PM (EST)]Around 6K. I assumed a reguler cab 2wd pretty much bare bones.
It's going to depend upon your area though. Also a 4.6 in the F250 is not going to catch a lot of attention. Even though it's a LD the 5.4 will always be the more desirable powerplant.
So I would check and see how long the truck has been sitting there. It is quite possible that they will let go for less because it has the small motor. A lot of other things are going to factor in here (condition of tires, brakes, etc).
$7450, it has new tires, new brakes, 4.6L V8, Air conditioning, automatic Transmission, bedliner, trailer hitch, 60/40 split cloth seats, map lights, and is in great shape.
